RGT Rosabrook is a late-flowering subterranean clover and an ideal substitute for any variety susceptible to red-legged earth mite. Its late-flowering habit allows it to keep growing and setting seed further into the season, making it well suited to summer-dry country where earlier types can finish too soon.
It fits easily into dryland pasture mixes, where its low-growing habit pairs especially well with the upright, drought-tolerant RGT Tenderly cocksfoot. Combining it with RGT Narrikup subterranean clover spreads flowering and extends production further still.
As a self-regenerating annual, it delivers free feed and fixes atmospheric nitrogen, lifting the productivity of dryland permanent pastures season after season.
FARM SUITABILITY
A strong choice for summer dry regions, delivering quality feed from spring to midsummer; graze until flowering, then reduce stocking to set seed for free feed and nitrogen each year.
Suitable for all stock classes, supplying high protein legume feed through spring and early summer.
Sow at 10kg/ha as the sole subterranean clover, or half that rate alongside RGT Narrikup to extend production deeper into the season.
