RAGT offers a complete range of companion species to lift the production and quality of your pasture, from forage herbs through to clovers. Mainly sown alongside grasses, these species add diversity, resilience, and feed value to a sward, and are among the most effective tools available for improving animal performance and soil health at the same time.

Clovers are the engine of a productive pasture. Through their natural relationship with soil bacteria, they fix nitrogen from the air, feeding the grasses around them and reducing your reliance on bought-in fertiliser. RAGT offers white clovers, including the high-producing, frost-tolerant RGT Tobby and the persistent, root weevil-tolerant RGT Quest; the high-quality red clover RGT Savvor; and a strong line of subterranean clovers, including RGT Rouse, RGT Rosabrook, and RGT Narrikup, suited to dryland and summer-dry systems. Used well, white clover alone can fix up to 30 kilograms of nitrogen per hectare for every 1,000 kilograms of dry matter grown, while lifting both the quantity and quality of grazing.

RGT Punter chicory delivers exceptional productivity and quality for fast liveweight gain and improved animal health, while the persistent, cool-season active RGT Oasis plantain extends quality feed further through the year and supports improved environmental outcomes. Both are deep-rooted, helping them handle dry periods and draw on moisture and minerals that other species cannot reach.
