From Mayotte to CIRAD in Réunion, where he worked on crop resistance under challenging conditions, to becoming a sorghum breeder at RAGT in just a few years, Quentin embodies a new generation of agricultural innovators.

Driven by a strong passion for sorghum as a climate-smart crop, he is already making a tangible impact. Through genomic prediction and advanced breeding strategies, he has increased efficiency by up to 75% while accelerating progress through counter-season breeding in Senegal.

His work contributes to more resilient crop rotations and stronger long-term farm performance, with much more to come.
